Explore the World’s only authentic Titanic landmark!

education-header

Your journey to Titanic Quarter is not complete without having descended into the graving dock where Titanic last rested on dry ground! Nowhere else on Earth can bring you this close to Titanic – the world’s most famous liner, built here in Belfast she sat in this very Dry-Dock on the eve of her first and last voyage in April of 1912.

Titanic's Dock from above

Titanic is remembered for the dramatic story of her sinking, but in 1912, she was an icon for all that was great about the 20th century – she was the most innovative, the most luxurious, the most awe-inspiring thing ever created by the hand of man. Here, in the shipyard where she came to life, you can still see the remnants of the engineering brilliance that brought Titanic into being.

Inside the Pump-House, the engineering achievement of the Edwardian age is almost perfectly preserved. Amongst the massive pumps and gargantuan hydraulic accumulator, you can still hear the echoes of the men whose labor built the world’s largest ships.
